Now, “editorial cartoonists” are supposed to come up with comics about the news of the day, but all other syndicated comics are done weeks in advance, explaining some belated mentions of big issues, and ALL the “Snakes on a Plane” jokes more than a month after it bombed in the theaters. But the timing of Dave Crowley’s Speed Bump coming up with this gag the day after several controversial Supreme Court decisions, including “Bong Hits 4 Jesus”, is almost eerie.

But then again, if he was legally savvy (and very few cartoonists are), he’d have known this was going to be the week for the Supremes to announce their final decisions of the term. Hmmmm….

I get at least 25% of my daily minimum requirement of cute from Count Your Sheep…

On the other hand, you can rely on Achewood for discussion of topics they won’t mention on The View…

I’d call this a rude awakening. Who’d do that to a penguin? They’re nature’s maitre-d’s!
